Insurance cover
Each of our vehicles is covered by statutory liability.
Rental price
The rental price is calculated according to time (per started period) and - in the case of special tariffs or vehicle types - in addition to kilometers driven. The rental price includes: expenses for oil consumption, maintenance, wear repairs and motor vehicle liability insurance. All costs for fuel are borne by the vehicle renter. Please also note our in-house tank service for the terms and conditions posted in the selected Buchbinder station. Also not included in the rental price are AdBlue add-ons and tolls incurred by law in the country of residence. These costs are also at the expense of the renter. In the case of the possible processing of subsequently received penalty or traffic violations we charge an administration fee.
All accepted, internationally recognized credit cards are accepted. For the vehicle categories Economy and Compact, rental is possible upon presentation of a debit card, for the remaining groups a credit card is required. In the case of an accident replacement rent, we will gladly inform you about the special conditions.
Delivery/Pickup
During the station opening hours, we will gladly bring your rental vehicle to your desired location and / or pick it up again. Within the city boundaries we charge € 20, -, beyond the boundaries by appointment (does not apply to cash rental).
Additional driver
Only the person named in the contract is entitled to use the rental car. If the vehicle is used by more than one person, an administration fee of € 5.00 per day and rental contract will be charged (not with the contracted company driver of the renter).
Minimum age
The minimum age to drive a vehicle from the Buchbinder fleet is 21 years, from the middle class 24 years. Excluded from this restriction are drivers who fulfill orders from companies or special regulations, if this is explicitly stated.
Driver's license
Each owner of a Buchbinder-rental-car must meet our guide lines and driver's age requirements, minimum duration of the possession of the driver's license and driving license class. These are to be taken in detail from the General Rental Terms and Conditions in their version valid at the time of the conclusion of the lease agreement. To be allowed to drive a rental car from our fleet, you must be at least 21 years old. For some vehicles, however, the minimum age is higher. Such exceptional cases are clearly indicated in the offers on this website. In addition, we ask you for each price request or booking to specify your date of birth. As a result, we will only offer you those vehicles that you may rent and direct in accordance with the terms.
Vehicle return
The rental vehicle must always be handed over to Buchbinder employees during station opening hours. In case of delivery outside the opening hours, the respective station must be asked how to proceed in this case. For objects that are left by the renter in the vehicle, we can not accept any liability
One-way-rent
Depending on the selected tariff type, a return of the rental vehicle for each Buchbinder-station in Germany can be arranged. If the vehicle is delivered in another station, deviating from the agreement, we will charge you a fee of € 50, - per car.
Entry restrictions in non-EU countries
Please note: If you would like to travel with a rental car from Buchbinder to a country that is not a member of the European Union, this requires prior written permission. Switzerland is exempt from this regulation as a non-EU member.
Legal requirements for trucks and transporters
We urge you to comply with the Road Haulage Act, the use of the tachograph and the observance of all necessities concerning the cargo papers.
